1  Music By Jason Forums / Q & A / World of Warcraft : Legion on: August 14, 2015, 05:04:57 PM
Jason, may I ask if you are going to have a major role in this upcoming World of Warcraft Expansion? I imagine when you were hired back, that they were developing Legion (Even though Warlords of Draenor hadn't been released yet). Are you working on that music? Yours is the most memorable music and I hope you are a part of it!
2  Music By Jason Forums / My Projects / Acapella of WoW music of Jason Hayes (Well, mostly) on: April 20, 2015, 12:22:55 PM
This is an acapella version of some WoW music, the majority being Jason Hayes' music. And, personally, those ones sound the best compared to the Brower song he included.

Congratulations, Jason! I take it you worked on Hearthstone? Anything else you're up to now?

5  Music By Jason Forums / My Projects / WarCraft: The Movie - Announced on: May 29, 2006, 02:13:47 PM
Hey, sorry for not posting for such a long time, but no worries, I still come here often.  Just don't have much time these days.

I was wondering the same thing.  I know you mentioned wanting to get into the film genre, and a warcraft movie would be exactly what you're looking for!  Since you don't work for blizzard, and neither does "legendary pictures", which is the company that will make the movie, will you have any part in the music of this movie?
6  Music By Jason Forums / Q & A / WoW: Music heard in Scarlet Monastery... on: February 12, 2005, 01:40:36 PM
You could always extract the file, "Sound.mpq" and extract all the songs.  I did that and have a ton of music not on the CD.

Wow... I love that song... Any chance you could send me the piano music?  That is so great... I'd love to learn it.  If so, I have an email (If it's a .pdf or anything)

I found a program called midi2wav but that only allows me to save 10 seconds of the song.  maybe I'll post the midi up here and hope your sound card is good and let you listen to them :p  I'll let you feel free to convert them

Oh great, so every time I click on a dryad and hear "Fear the fearsome fury of the forest fawn!" I'll know exactly who it is!  That's awesome!

I have some compositions of my own (Just for personal enjoyment) but I do not know how to turn them to mp3 or even wav... I can only listen to them through a midi file or the program I use.  It's kind of sad, because there are at least 2 songs that are worthy of other peoples' ears.  LOL you should hear my first composition - absolutely ugly.  terrible chords and stuff, but it makes me laugh when I go back and listen to it.  So in short, if you have a good way to turn midi into mp3 easily, I'd love to hear it!
11  Music By Jason Forums / Q & A / about the workshop... on: January 03, 2005, 09:04:01 AM
Hey that's some cool information!  I actually work downtown Salt Lake City, Utah and am always hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice and stuff.  They're really good.  John Williams even used them for recording the 2002 Olympic theme.  Anyway, thought I'd throw in some tidbits.

I just wanted to say, I LOVE the music you've done, and was curious if you have the lyrics for the cinematic of World of Warcraft.  That is one of my favorite songs now, and listen to "A Call to Arms" and that one all the time.  (I should also mention I'm a soundtrack buff.  John Williams is probably my favorite, but with you mentioning that you might do film music, all the better!  (I am actually going to be applying for USC or BYU film school soon.)
