Cool!  Since the German people are my friendly neighbors, I should be able to get there quite easily.  I'd love to see you in action! (is an autograph session included? :p)

Silent Hill 2's coming too.  Akira Yamaoka is also one of the most talented musicians in the gaming world.

Wow . . . will there be recordings made of this? So many game soundtracks that I love are on that list (specifically Arcanum, Morrowind and World of WarCraft).

Do you know if they will be selling a commercial copy of this concert as a recording later on for the multitudes who were unable to attend?

I sure would love to attend to that concert, it would propably kill me because I would enjoy more than my body and mind could ever handle!! Hahah.

So many great titles, as Melda already mentioned, and I would like to add Gustaf Grefberg's Chronicles of Riddick OST and Spellforce2 (I am sure that spellforce II has awesome OST again by Pierre Lange, who did for the previous Spellforce titles). Gload your work is also presented there, Jason !!
As far as I understood, you write a special medley score for the event?

Really, I will most certainly die griefing if they don't release an OST from this
year's evernt !!!

Well. good luck with it Jason, and good luck writing the scores for the contest winners as well Smiley .
Fare thee well.

*OST stands for Original SoundTtrack, for those who might not know Smiley .

Woah! It's taken me a long time to respond to this, and for that I'm sorry. That goes for many of the questions here on the site, but I'm going to try and rectify that situation by posting more frequently!

So, in answer to your questions - I'm not sure if there will be a soundtrack sold, but I will certainly try to get my hands on a recording. I'm going to Germany for the show, so hopefully that'll help my chances of making that happen, even if it means sneaking in a portable digital recorder into the theater!  (j/k Smiley)

By the way Thanatos, they are doing a meet and greet at the show, so maybe I'll meet you there... (and thanks Markus)

I'd really, really love that, but I was too late with the tickets sale...  they were already sold out

Ah well, maybe another time...

Maybe.

I hope the concert over there is more polished than the one here! Though
Jason's section rocked, a lot of the segments were blown by the LA Phil.

Tons of fun though!!! Tech issues aside, what a KICK ass show!!!

The wine and beer definitely helped.
