I know, it sucks when you realize that good music was ripped-off. I loved Street of Rage II until I realized that Yuzo had conveniently taken a bunch of real songs to make his music, just like with Doom:
Streets of Rage's Under Logic vs the Shamen's Move Any Mountain (iTunes). There's one song there that's from the game's Intro that rips off Enigma's Sadeness

Sadness is also teh sweet.  I happen to have a 74 minute MP3 entailing nearly all Enigma work stiched back to back as one long track.

Funny...

Probably just a coincidence, I don't think Koji Kondo stole from that song.

I wanted to add that I'm in love with the main theme of Devil May Cry 3.  Beautiful melody!

Good call! Now there's a melody I've played and played again...It sounds nice on piano as well. Also the choral section from the demon world is good. And the theme just before/after the main fight/during the 2nd Vergil fight. And most of the cinematic soundtrack, come to think of it...XD

Yes, the music in the second battle with Vergil is simply breathtaking!  I think it's by far the best battle song I've heard in a video game so far.  Very heroic and adrenaline pumping.  I haven't finished the game yet, but I can't wait to discover if there's more cool music like that lurking in the darkness!   Tongue

Oh you haven't finished it yet? I envy you...how I wish I could see that ending for the first time again...Well, anyway, when you do finish it, I want to hear the verdict! Cheesy There's definitely one or two really good pieces still to come, I can tell you that much. Oh yeah, and sorry for that strange double post, that was a mistake...

So, I finished it   .  Yeah, at the end it becomes really cool!  My favorite part is where Vergil says IMO one of the best lines in the gaming world ever... "Not very classy for someone's dying words."

I really liked the music in the Netherworld.

It was the first time I tried a Devil May Cry game, and I am thoroughly pleased.  The fourth installment will be shining on my shelf for sure.

Nice one! Yeah, the demon world music is so good...I also think the music just before, during and after the last Vergil battle is great! I'm so getting the next game...half for the music, half for the rest.
