I've . . . not seen it . . . does that help at all?

Yeah, that's all I have to contribute.

Although I have read people commenting about 'Avent Children', but I can't remember what they were saying . . .

Is it a feature film based on the game series? Or am I misunderstanding?

The film is the direct sequel to Final Fantasy VII.  Actually I don't think the film is out yet.

it is released in japan Smiley

I've seen it and it is really great ! The graphics are really impressive, the fights are incredibly dynamic and defie physical laws, but really great !

The only bad thing is the scenario which is really slim (I don't remember the word  :? ) compared to the huge story of the game, but when we think a little about it we see that it hides more than what we see !

ive just seen the movie. Fantastic. too bad the romance inbetwen tifa and cloud doesnt advance or that you find out more about cloud. even after playing ff7 he still is mysterious.

disapointed of the materia system. thought that goes ON your weapons and armour, not into your body....

Aerith just loooked PERFECTLY like in the game.

Other chars get too short.

i wish they would have made a 3 hour thing out of it, because by gooly you could

Wow, you thought the music was good? Actually, I thought the movie was ok, but the music was TERRIBLE!!! There were tiny instrumental loops that just repeated over and over...it was a far cry from the melodic mastery of Nobuo, and the arrangements seemed very childish.

But, each to their own opinion, I suppose!  Cool

I think it's out here in the UK, but I'm not sure...

Anyway, I originally saw it a while ago and thought it was great. ^^
It's not exactly particularly complex, and neither does it advance the plot a huge amount but it's fine for just being a fan thing. And I thought a fair bit of the music was really good, such as the choral stuff that played during the battle with the big summon, but the rock tracks weren't really my kind of thing. The new version of Sephiroth's theme worked well though with the film, I thought.
