Hey guys. ":)

I look forward to hearing your work.

I'll leave this here for now, however I will be relocating this thread eventually to 'The Composer's Workshop' to keep the Mod Projects forum for mod projects only.

But it's good here for the moment.

Again, look forward to hearing your work!

":)

At last another frenchy here Smiley Welcome !

Vince, from your clips it is clear you know how to use a sequencer and a sampler, however, even if your composing skills are obvious, I am not so sure about your mixing skills. From what I've heard here (and only from that, so I may just totally be wrong), none of your samples could fit in a video game as such, I think you need to spend some time working on the panoramic, the reverb, the dynamic.

Another thing, for instance, the first "demo" song called "Course Poursuite" (which means "Chase" in english) doesn't match a fast paced action chase as well, to my liking at least, even if the melodies there are nice and the sound of the instruments mingle quite well... but why not any percussion, nothing to somehow underline a rythm ?

Anyway, we are all learning here, and I supose you are looking for projects to laern even more, that is the way to go. I really hope you will soon find a nice project to work on.

By the way, I quickly visited your website, and saw your were posting a complete scanned book in pdf format about counterpoint... nice, but I am not sure this is legal, so just pay attention ^^

Cheers from France ;-p

I use Sibelius too... but for notation and paging.

Weither you choose Finale or Sibelius is the same problem : there are no sequencer. It's like using Word as a html editor.
